Lessons or classes are available online in modern languages, such as German and French, but also in classical languages, such as Latin and Greek. 

Instruction is typically given via video conferencing (GoogleMeet or Zoom). It can also be held in person for those who prefer and/or live nearby. All instruction can be scheduled during day-time and evening hours as arranged, including weekends. 

Instructor

All classes are currently taught by Mar Melchizedek, Professor of Classical Languages, or his designee.

Books and Materials

Unless you have a specific preference, we will recommend a textbook, including instructions on how you can order it at a most reasonable price. 

Certificates

An official Certificate of Achievement may be issued at the end of each Subject Course, once all Credits have been earned.

4.  Classical or New Testament Greek

5.  German
 

• Basic Conversational German (5 Credits)

Modus Operandi

• A lesson or class consists of 45 minutes.

• Lessons are given via GoogleMeet video conferencing

• The number of lessons needed to achieve each segment depends on the student's pace, progress and proficiency

• If a lesson is canceled in time by either party, it can be made up as arranged.

• If a student does not tune in or show up within the first 15 minutes of a scheduled time, the lesson is forfeited.

• Once you have signed up for your lessons, you will be billed. Payment in full is required prior to the first class or lesson.

• Credits will be recorded after each section has been successfully completed

• If wanted, a Certificate Of Achievement can be issued to the student.

Current Fee Scale For Classes (as of 2021)

(3 students minimum / 20 students maximum)

10 lessons (minimum): $300 per student

15 lessons (recommended): $425 per student

20 lessons: $550 per student

Certificate Fee (optional):  $50 per student

Fee Scale For Private Lessons (as of 2022)

(online or in person)

5 lessons (minimum): $150

10 lessons (recommended to start): $275

15 lessons: $400

20 lessons: $525

Certificate Fee (optional):  $50 per student

Related Services

English Proof Reading: $25 per type-written page  (1.5 spacing)

Translation (from a foreign language into English): $35 - $70 per page, depending on the original copy, spacing and other conditions. Please inquire for an estimate.
